Congratulations to Harry Arksey and Alex Mitchell of TEAMFORZA based in David Lloyd Milton Keynes who both fulfilled their dream of becoming English National Champions and they did it in style. Both boys fought off tough competition all weekend to find themselves pitted against each other in the finals of the singles event on the Sunday afternoon with Harry winning the final 15-2 15-7 to take the gold, leaving Alex with a Silver. Mr Mitchell had to pick himself up quickly as he had the final of the boys doubles event against David Jones and Max Flynn of Berkshire and he was hungry for gold. Alex played superbly with partner Adam Lam and won his nationals in 2 straight sets 17-15, 15-13 to cap off an amazing weekend. There was also TEAMFORZA success in the girls event with Holly Garrett taking a Bronze medal and almost beating the No2 seed Joshmin Bong in a close 3 set match 15-6, 13-15, 15-13.
