| Double Gold for SankeyThursday, 1 April 2010 Sophie Sankey became double National Champion at the U/17 Championships in Fenton Manor at the Weekend. Sophie and her partner Mina Clarke who are both sponsored by Forza beat Bromley / Westwood in the final. Sophie then partnered Ryan McCarthy and won the Mixed Doubles title where they beat Dobson / Westwood in a 3 Set thriller 21/19 in the final set. Alex Lane won a Bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles with partner Chloe Birch and Jess Hopton won a Bronze in the Ladies Doubles and Mina Clarke added a bronze in the Mixed to go with her Gold she won in the Ladies Doubles.
